Thank you for visiting my website. Let me share a bit about myself.

I am a family physician and health services researcher. I see patients at Fairfax Family Practice in Fairfax, VA. Most of my professional time is now research. I am the Medical Director for the Robert Graham Center for Policy Studies in Family Medicine and Primary Care (RGC). My research evaluates population health to inform policy decisions on a state and national level. 

Specifically, I research workforce distribution, payment for primary care, and the social determinants of health. I also oversee all learners that join the RGC - including our year long fellow and monthly Larry A. Green Scholars. While collaborating on research, I am aim to help other researchers achieve their goals! 

I teach medical students at Georgetown University as the Research Director of the Population Health Scholars Track. In this role, I mentor 40-48 students over the course of 4 years as they develop research questions, complete data analysis and learn to disseminate research findings. I also precept medical students from University of Virginia in my clinical practice. I am a part of the residency faculty and facilitate PGY-2 and PGY-3 residents at the Fairfax Family Practice Residency in scholarly activities. 

My family medicine practice is in Fairfax, Virginia. I completed my residency training at the University of Virginia and went on to complete my fellowship as the Robert L. Phillips Jr. Health Policy Fellow at Georgetown University. I was an American Board of Medical Specialties Visiting Scholar in 2020-2021. I am a member of the 2023 class of Lead Virginia.
